Vin santo wine is an Italian dessert wine originally from Italy's Tuscany region.

Vin Santo is becoming more and more popular with the Brits. As more and more people holiday in Italy, we are all discovering the delights of Vi Santo wine. Vin Santo wine literally means "holy wine" in Italian, Vin santo wine it is made in the same fashion as the French vin de paille, from grapes dried on straw mats or hung from rafters. Vin santo wine is made from Trebbiano and Malvasia and is barrel-aged for anywhere from three to ten years. The Vin santo wine ranges from deep gold to amber in colour and from very sweet to very dry.
