Panettone bread
Panettone cake and bread is becoming very popular in the UK. Many of us now enjoy Panettone at Christmas and Easter, when it is traditionally eaten and prepared by Italians. Panettone bread cake is a traditional Italian cake, originally made in Milan. Panettone bread cake is usually prepared and enjoyed for Christmas. Panettone bread cake has a cupola shape and is usually about 30 cm high.
Panettone bread cake is made of a soft, incompletely-cooked dough containing candies and raisins. Panettone bread cake is served in slices, vertically cut, accompanied with sweet hot beverages or a sweet wine, such as Prosecco. The Gift Gourmet supplies Panettone bread cake from some of Italy’s most famous producers such as Maina and Corsini. The production techniques have been modified in view of recent European regulations on food, as its traditional preparation requires that its dough not be completely cooked and that its raisins are to ferment. The taste is therefore now different compared to that of traditional Panettone - but equally as enjoyable.
At the Gift Gourmet we have a range of gift sets that include panettone bread cake, such as the Buongiorno set, 1kg Panettone and Prosecco and the luxury 1.6kg Panettone in gift box.
